• Implemented a targeted PR campaign in partnership with the Runner’s World Magazine in-house PR team to position the magazine as the industry experts during the New York City Marathon from 2013-2015.
  • Worked with WABC-TV to provided co-branded Runner’s World content for the WABC NYC Marathon pre-race special.
  • Positioned Runner’s World editors and publishers as the experts for other media covering the NYC Marathon including:  Bloomberg TV, Fox Business Network, WCBS-AM; Fox 5 Good Day New York, CNBC and others.
  • Created a PR support program to promote “celebrity runner” Summer Sanders who was featured on the cover of the November 2013 issue of Runner’s World.
  • Staged a search for the most inspirational runners of the 2013 NYC Marathon and generated hometown publicity (TV, newspaper, etc) for the 10 runners honored by RunnersWorld.com for the month leading up to the event.
  • Worked with the in-house corporate communications team to promote Runner’s World books including the Runners World Meals on the Run Cookbook and The Runner’s Brian
